This release is part of our broader effort to bring more intuitive, data-first experiences to Democracy Direct® users—helping teams quickly access the information they need, reduce manual effort, and make more confident decisions.
What Are PAC Budgets?
Within Democracy Direct®, PAC budget data helps teams track planned financial activity, maintain visibility into budget allocations, and support more informed PAC management and reporting.
What’s New?
PAC Budgets, a new way to view and manage budget information in a clear, organized, and interactive grid format.
With this beta release, users can more easily review PAC budget records, identify key details at a glance, and interact with budget data without relying on time-consuming searches or fragmented workflows, giving teams a more efficient way to access budget information and support financial planning workflows.
The PAC Budgets is now available for users to begin exploring. Here’s what you can expect:
Instant Visibility and Organized Review: View PAC budget details in one centralized grid, with expandable groups to view the associated committees.
Comprehensive Budget Totals: View Total Budgeted, Given, Remaining, and Pending amounts for each committee, calculated from related disbursements and check requests.
User-Friendly Interface: Sort, Filter and Pivot on budget data by available criteria to quickly locate the information you need.
Expandable Details and Quick Edits: Show or hide related disbursements and check requests for added context and use the View/Edit link to view/update budget details without losing your place in the grid.
Streamlined Workflows and Better Decisions: Access, review, and compare PAC budget data from one intuitive screen to reduce manual effort and support informed planning, allocation, and reporting decisions.
Why Beta?
This release is currently in beta, which means we are actively gathering feedback to refine the experience and ensure the PAC Budgets delivers practical value for the organizations that rely on Democracy Direct®.
